Eligibility

- Be an international student who is not a citizen of the United Kingdom or the European Union
- Have an offer of admission to a full-time undergraduate degree program at UCL
- Demonstrate academic excellence and potential to contribute to the UCL community
- Demonstrate financial need
Application Instructions
To apply for the UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarships, students must complete an online application form and submit the following documents:
- A personal statement describing their academic and personal achievements, career goals, and reasons for applying to UCL
- A reference letter from a teacher, counselor, or other academic professional
- Evidence of financial need, such as bank statements, tax returns, or scholarship awards
- Proof of English language proficiency, such as TOEFL or IELTS scores
How to Apply?
To apply for the UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarships, students must follow these steps:
- Login to Portico with your normal details.
- Click on the ‘View’ button for the ‘Active Application’ that you wish to apply for funding for.
- In the application screen, click on ‘Funding’ in the menu at the top of the page.
- You are now on the funding page. To find out which funds you are eligible to apply for click ‘Check and apply‘ under ‘Funds Available’.
- Click on the scholarship name of the scheme that you wish to apply for.
